TTS Challenge: Distress It!

Hi all,

It is Friday again, which is wonderful just by itself....BUT to add to that, we have another challenge at The Town Scrapper blog!  If you head over there, you'll be able to see the winner from last Friday, as well as the intro of this week's challenge!  This week, the Scrapettes are challenging you to add some distressing to your project!

For this week, I chose to work with a cute Victoria Case image that Phebe sells called You Are So Birdiful!  HAHAHA - get it?

OK, so I used Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White, and Elegant Eggplant CS.  On the large white piece, I added some score lines to make a grid, and I distressed the edges.  I wrapped some Bermuda Bay ribbon around the project, and then I added an eggplant strip, punched with a Martha Stewart edge punch.  I cut a swirl out of white felt, then rolled it into a flower, and stuck it on, adding some Certainly Celery leaves underneath.

My image has been stamped onto PTI White CS, coloured with Copics, and cut out with Long Rectangle Nesties, and distressed.  The same was done with the black mat.

Well, I think you should definitely submit your creation using some distressing, and you can also check out what the other Scrapettes have done on the TTS blog!

Also, for all your papercrafting needs, contact Phebe by email at info@townscrapper.com or by phone at 519-882-0623.

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!
