Snow Bursts CASE

Hi All,

I saw this card on SCS and decided I wanted to do a simpler version of it. I used the retired Snow Burst set and the Punches Three set.

I used Kraft CS for the card base, then the Chocolate Chip layer and Brushed Gold layer are matted with Whisper White CS. The Brushed Gold layer is stamped with the snowflake images in Whisper White Craft, Chocolate Chip and Encore Gold inks.

The emblem is punched out with my scallop square punch, ad mounted on Dimensionals. I tied Chocolate Chip felt ribbon around the top layer.

Nice and easy!

My Hero: Rogue Charlotte

Hi All,

Lately, I had seen some images from Whiff of Joy, and I fell in love with them. They are from their Medieval collection. I bought mine at 7 Kids College Fund online. For this card, I decided to use Rogue Charlotte. I thought these images were perfect for colouring, and they have a great spirit about them - reminds me of Robinhood.

I stamped Charlotte in Memento Black ink onto Neenah Solar White CS and coloured her with my Copic markers. I layered her onto Basic Black, Real Red, and Soft Suede CS.

The card base is the same, and I tied SU's retired rope "ribbon" around the bottom layer. On the white piece, I cut out a bunch of circles with my Circle Scissor Plus, and stuck them on with my 2-Way Glue Pen, and trimmed them to be flush with the edge of the white CS.

The sentiment was made with SU's Serif Mini Alphabet, and punched out with my Word Window Punch.

All in all, pretty simple.

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

MIA: Back with a Sprout Card

Hi All,

Wow, did I take a long break! Well, I decided to come back with a card made from a Sprout - a Wild Sprout, that is! I used Dahlia from the Wild Sprouts collection at the Greeting Farm. She is so adorable.

I stamped Dahlia in Versafine Black, and embossed her with Clear EP. I coloured her with my Copic markers. I also added Crystal Effects to the purple flower to make it POP.

On the white panel, I stamped the grass from Inspired by Nature with Handsome Hunter and Always Artichoke inks. I layered one of the printed window sheets on top of that - the one that has the white vines and leaves on it. On top of the window sheet, I added some self-adhesive daisies from Martha Stewart for some extra colour and fun.

I attached the window sheet with Brilliant Blue brads in the top 2 corners. The card base is Elegant Eggplant, and the next layer is Crushed Curry (NEW colour!).

I like that the card turned out looking like a scene!

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!
