Greeting Farm Fairy

Hi All!

I wanted to post this card I made with Fairy Chloe from The Greeting Farm. They have 3 fairies altogether, and they are adorable!

My card base is Close to Cocoa, then layered with Elegant Eggplant, then Whisper White.

At the bottom, I added 3 circles (1/4") of Eggplant CS, topped with 3 black brads. The velvet ribbon is one that I got from an independent craft store a while ago - love the way it feels.

The flower and leaves are from Close to My Heart - I thought they would give the card a light forest-feel. The purple rhinestone brad is from SU.

The main panel is the same colour scheme (Cocoa, Eggplant, White), and Chloe is stamped in Versafine Black ink, and embossed with clear EP. I coloured her with my Copic markers, and added some sponging with Eggplant ink around the outside.
Hope you enjoyed!

Suzette KETTO Swap Card

Hi All,

I mailed out my swap cards for my KETTO swap last week. I love these KETTO images...but sometimes I wish they were bigger.

I based my colour scheme on SU's Rockabilly Specialty DSP - LOVE that paper! My other colours of CS were Basic Black, Whisper White, and Old Olive.

I used my Oval Nestabilities to cut out my image and the mat. The image was stamped in Memento ink and coloured with Copic markers. There is one clip on the oval with Black Gingham ribbon tied to it.

The sentiment is from SU's set One of A Kind. I also used 3 clear dew drops in the bottom right corner. There is also some paper piercing along the left edge.

Agnes KETTO with Mojo Monday Sketch

Well, I made this card a while ago, to coincide with the Mojo Monday sketch from a few weeks back. But, just posting it now, due to internet issues.

Well, I decided to use my adorable Agnes KETTO from Stamping Bella (see my sidebar for the link). I stamped her on white CS and coloured her with my Copics. I cut her out with my Circle Nesties, and cut a scallop circle out of Baja Breeze CS for the mat.

The DSP I used is from SU's Green Tea pack (retired), and I ran my Basic Gray CS trough my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. I put some adhesive peals on the corners - got them from Michael's.
I also outlined some of the designs from the embossing with white gel pen, so they would stand out a little. The ribbon in the striped Baja reeze from SU.

Overall, I really liked this sketch...I wouldn't mind trying it out with some other colours.

Well, I hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

Greeting Farm Geisha

Hi All,

The Greeting Farm has put out some disgustingly cute images lately. I used my Geisha Anya here - she used to be a digital image, and then they made her into rubber because she was so popular!

I stamped her with Memento Brown ink for a softer look, and coloured her with my Copic markers. I also used a Sakura Glaze pen on the flower in her hair for some sparkle.
I mounted her onto a white Classic Oval and a Taken With Teal Scallop Oval cut with Nestabilities.
The back panel is a piece of Pink Pirouette embossed with one of my Cuttlebug Folders.
On the right side, I used the EXTREMELY wide Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon, and put 2 of the flowers from one of SU's Accents and Elements tins at either end.
I really like how this one turned out, but what sentiment to use?
Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!

Finally! New modem = new blog post: Magnolia

Hi All!

Well, the internet issues are finally resolved, so I can get back into my routine.

I decided my first card would be a Magnolia - it's been a while since I worked with my Magnolias.

My card base is Whisper White, the next layer is Tangerine Tango, and the top layer is one piece of Haiku DSP from SU. I like this piece because it has so many different design strips, that it looks like you have pieced together a bunch of different papers.

Tilda was stamped on to Papertrey's white CS with Memento black ink, and coloured in with my Copics. It was punched out with my Oval Nestabilities, and the scallop layer was punched onto Old Olive CS.

I used my Word Window punch on the DSP, stamped the sentiment from Stamping Bella on a white piece, and layered it under the hole in the DSP.

The ribbon is the Striped Tangerine Tango from SU, and the flower is from Martha Stewart (bought at Michael's).

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

Internet down!

Hi All,

I am so sorry I have not been posting - our internet connection has been completely down at home, and I am using my computer at work on my break to post this. We have ordered a new modem, and I really hope to get it in soon.

I have still been creating, and taking pictures, but I'm just not able to create any posts or upload anything! So frustrating.

Anywho, as soon as we get back online, I will be catching up and posting my latest.

Thanks for understanding, and please keep checking back!

Cheers,

Robin
