MTSC96 & Windy Mae

Hi all,

I have a card to show you today, and I am playing along with Mercy's sketch challenge for this week.  You can find that post HERE, but here is the sketch:

Fun, right?  For some reason, I love the sketches that have a large main panel - I feel like they are saying to me, "go ahead, do whatever you like with it"!
Anyway, us Oddies at Some Odd Girl, have been having soooo much fun playing with the newest release that Kristy gave us all.  I don't mean to be pushy, but you NEED some of these images! LOL
They are in the store :-)

Here's my card, and I almost followed the sketch to the tee:

I started with a Kraft base (5 1/4" square).  The 3 panels of DSP are all from the same pack: the retired SU pack called Nouveau Chic.  I love the pretty neutral colours in it.  I kept it pretty simple, and didn't mat those layers.  I also used another rolled felt flower as an embellishment, and added some Sage Shadow CS leaves (punched out with a leaves Sizzlet and my Big Shot).
I printed Windy Mae onto PTI White CS, coloured her with Copics, and rounded the corners, which I also did with the Basic Black mat.

Now for some other fun stuff...we have started the voting on the name for our new monkee HERE.  Please help us out and let us know which one you like!  He has been nameless for tooooo long!

Also, the SOG blog just put up another challenge, and it is a colour challenge!  Should be reallly easy to play along with, especially if you have any of the new images.  Hint, hint.  Head over and check it out HERE.  We have a different challenge every two weeks, so you have 2 weeks to play along!

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

I *adore* this card. You know I am your official Colour-Groupie and I don't need to tell you again how AMAZING your work is...oh well, there I did it again.

Love the genius touch of the little branch of leaves underneath the button!
