Bellarific Sketch

Hi all,

Well, I couldn't help myself...I had to play along again with the Bellarific Friday challenge this week over at Bloggabella, and it is a sketch!  And after being at Scrap Fest, how can you not be full of stamping energy?  I did buy some of the new releases from Stamping Bella, but for this week's card, I used an older image - PERFECT for guys!  Here is the sketch first:

Alrighty...I kept it really simple - I hear that's how tha guys like things!  I used mainly Basic Gray, Whisper White, and Basic Black CS.  But, the striped paper, and the big blue piece are Crate DSP (the Sailor line).  I added 4 pewter brads to the corners of the base, and I drew a silly doodle frame around the smaller square.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment in the lower corner.

I stamped Hanging Sports Block onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured it with Copics (and a bit of Prismacolor Pencils for shading).  I cut that out with Circle Nesties, and added some sponging with Bisque ink.  I stuck that onto the smaller square layer, and added some zig zag stitching in the corners.

Well, that's it for now...thank goodness it's Friday!
Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!
