Tea Uptown

Hi all,
Today, I'm posting a card I made for my sister.  Here's the story: back in April she moved to Germany to be with the man she loves (sigh) - she only planned to move there for 1 year, so I have been without my only sister for about 6 months now.  And if you'll recall, I did go to visit her in August.
I decided it was time to mail a card to her internationally - it's the best kind of mail, and I know it means a lot.

Here it is:

I had to ink one of my new images from the Uptown Girls collection for this one.  My sister is a tea-drinker, so I thought this image would be perfect!
The card is pretty simple because of the size of the image.  My base is Kraft CS, followed by some random patterned paper I found in my stash.  Haha - that's pretty much it.

I stamped Clarissa and Camille with a Cafe onto Bella's Bestest Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I coloured the image with Copics, and added shading with my Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.  I added lots of glitter around them and the sentiment is an SU rub-on.
I think she'll love it (I would be the one with the black hair, and she with the brown).

Don't forget about our Bellarific Friday challenge to add snow to your card - get it to Emily by Thursday night!

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

Well the card design might be simple but your coloring is not! Dang, you did a fantastic job with the color combo and shading. Your sister's bound to see how much love you poured into this.
