Bellarific Friday: Chicken's Sketch

Hi all,

Today is the day! Happy Friday everyone!  It's also the first Friday of summer, which I'm pretty happy about.  This week's Bellarific Friday challenge is a sketch from Da Chicken! LOL
Here's the awesomeness:

Here's mine:
My card base is Kraft CS.  My patterned papers are from SEI - the 3 strips are matted with black, and the bottom strip is matted with white (punched with a Martha Stewart lattice edge punch).  I LOVE these papers - they are totally yummy!

I stamped Boots onto Bella's Bestest Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I coloured them with Copics, and added some shading with Prismas and OMS.

Copics used:
*Blue boots: B00, B02, B05
*Green boots: G21, G24, G28
*Grey boots: W3, W5, W7
*Boot buckle: E30, E37

Next week, we are actually taking a week off, due to Canada Day, and Independence Day!  You have a 2 week break, and when we come back, our challenge will be to use ribbons!  Submit your project with ribbons and a Stamping Bella image to Emily (emily@stampingbella.com) by Thursday night (July 7), and your card will be published on the company blog, and you'll be entered to win some Bella bucks!

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!

WOW - these boots knock your socks off. Don't you hate when your socks slink and you have boots on.. Sorry - sidetracked! Hehe. While I think you're crazy for coloring boots at the start of summer, with all the rain we've had this week you need 'em to cut the lawn. Such a cute, cute card!
