It's Friday again - best day of the week! I totally love seeing everyone's cards each and every week on the Stamping Bella blog, and the challenges are so much fun!
Last Friday we were given our mission: to use paper piecing on our project! Don't get that confused with paper piercing! This actually whips your project into shape much more quickly because it's space that you don't have to colour - the trick is to add shading to the patterned paper so that it still blends in with the rest of the image!
Next, I used my Social Club patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket, along with a Die-Namics die cut to make the funky bracket along the left side, and I matted that with black.
pregaPEEP onto Bella's Bestest Paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink, and I also stamped it onto a green piece from the same Cosmo Cricket pack of papers. I coloured my main image with Copics, and added some shading with Prismas and OMS. I then cut the ice cream tub out of the green patterned paper, added some shading with Prismas and adhered it on top of the white piece. I added some more Wheat ink around that panel and mounted it onto a black piece.

Next week's challenge??? Here Comes Summer! Make a project with a summer theme using any of the images sold at Stamping Bella, and send it to Emily (email@example.com) by Thurday night. Your card will be published on the company blog on Friday, and you will be entered to win some Bella Bucks! Not to mention, I will get to hop over to the blog and see what you made :-)
Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!
