Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 19: Buttons and Bows

Hi All,

I am participating in this week's Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #19: to use buttons and bows!  I think they are taking it easy on us this week...this one should be plausible, right?

I decided to use Drucilla - she is adorable, and a little bit creepy.  It looks like she loves that doll a little too much!  I also used a few different papers from SU's Rockabilly DSP pack.

My card base is Whisper White, then a layer of Basic Black, then a layer of cherry DSP with black ink sponged around the edges.  I added a smaller square of Basic Black CS and red polka dot DSP, and then 2 strips of Black CS and green crown DSP.

I added some black grosgrain ribbon around that entire base layer, and made a black bow with my Bow Easy and attached it with Mini Glue Dots.
I used 4 clear SU buttons, threaded with Linen Thread and added them to the ends of the green strips with Mini Glue Dots.

Drucilla was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Solar White CS, coloured with Copics, and cut out with Label 4 Nesties.  I sponged that with Basic Black ink, and attached it to a larger Basic Black layer.

I had tons of fun dreaming this one up! I think I'd like to use this sketch again in the future...

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!
