Bellarific Friday: Polka Dots

Hi All,

I have a card for you with this week's Bellarific Friday challenge: to use polka dots!  Check out the Stamping Bella blog HERE

My card base is Kraft CS, followed by Basic Blac, and a piece of Urban Oasis DSP (polka dots!).  I added a strip of black DSP and Basic Black CS punched with an SU edge punch.

For the main panel, I stamped Ruby and Rose Lulu in Versafine Onyx Black ink, and embossed with Clear EP.  They were coloured with Copics and were cut out with Rectangle Nesties, and sponged on the inside with Kiwi Kiss ink.  I layered that onto a Basic Black rectangle, then a scallop rectangle from DSP.

I added 1 corduroy button and 2 corduroy brads in Kraft, with the button threaded with Linen Thread.

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

SOoooo, sweet!! I have these Lulu stamps. I got them last year as a birthday gift from my best friend and stamping buddy. But guess what, I have only made one card with them and that was before I had a blog!! I really need to get these out and play!! Love the colors and the embossing you did!!
Hugs:)

Your background sponging is sooooo good, it looks like it was manufactured!( please take this as a compliment, because it's intended to be one). How do you do it so perfect?
