FTTC52C: Fruity Birthday

Hi All,

I made this card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Anniversary challenge C: to make a card using fruits or citrus colours.  Well, since I don't have any fruit stamps, that left me with one option.  So, I decided to go with some bright orange, yellow, and green colours.

My card base is Whisper White, followed by a Basic Black layer, and a Handsome Hunter layer.  For the top layer, I used one of the brass templates from the Touch of Grace store (see my sidebar for the link to the store) to emboss some white CS and to cut the shapes out.  I added some white Martha Stewart pearls to each corner (on the Hunter piece).

I stamped the flower from Poinsettia and Boxwood in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Solar White CS twice.  I coloured them in with Copics, and cut them out - one around the outside, and the other a smaller inside layer.  The smaller flower layer was mounted on top of the bigger layer, and they were both mounted on to the card base with Dimensionals.

Not very many steps to the card, but VERY time-consuming.

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!
