Bellarific Friday - Sketch

Hi All,

I decided to participate in this week's Bellarific Friday challenge again from the Stamping Bella blog.  This week it's a sketch - which I love.

Hmmm.....what stamp to use?  Well, I just love the girls in the Lulu collection, and I chose Gertie for this card.  She so sweet!

Sorry about the picture - it's kinda weird, 'cause it's fuzzy towards the front and completely clear at the back!  But, you get the idea.

My card base is Kraft CS, layered with Handsome Hunter and Very Vanilla pieces that were distressed. The next layer is a piece of Manchester DSP, also distressed.  At the left side, instead of brads or buttons, I used some butterflies - punched from Basic Black CS with the Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

The next rectangle panel is Kraft CS, Basic Black, and DSP, all distressed again.  The strip across the bottom is Basic Black, also distressed.  I stamped the sentiment "have a magical day" in black ink onto Very Vanilla CS, and cut the end into a "V".

For the main panel, I stamped Gertie onto Neenah Solar White CS in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, coloured her in with Copics, and cut her out with Classic Oval Nesties.  While the panel was still in the stencil, I sponged it with Sahara Sand ink.  I layered that onto a Basic Black oval, then onto a Kraft scallop oval.

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

So pretty! I don't think I've ever used Handsome Hunter, will have to give it a try!
