New Spring/Summer 2008 Collection
OK, so....
I have sent out the Preview Mini Catalogues to all my customers, and they should have received them, or should be in the next day or two. I have just received my own full copy of Stampin' Up!'s Spring/Summer 2008 Idea Book and Catalogue.
I am in love with anything that looks like it is an Eastern or Asian theme. They have some GORGEOUS stamp sets and new Designer papers also.
I can't wait to spread the love with everybody!

More Christmas Cards
Hi All,
These cads are going to people at work also. One is more classic, and the other is more fun. Have a look...
For this card, I stamped the images first in Versamark on a Glossy White piece (5" x 3.75"), and then brayered over the entire piece with Sage Shadow ink (so the trees have resisted the ink). Then, I stamped one of the images again in Sage Shadow ink a little off to the side to fill up the sheet a bit more. Then, I stamped the two larger single trees in Always Artichoke ink and drew in snow with a white gel pen.
Recipe:
SS: Lovely As A Tree, Warmest Regards (retired)
CS: Soft Sky, Wintergreen Designer Paper
Ink: Versamark, Sage Shadow, Always Artichoke, Basic Black
Other: Corner Rounder Punch, Photo Corner Punch, White Gel Pen
To colour the next card, I used my Prisma Colour Pencils with the odourless mineral spirits and a blending stump. It makes the blending so smooth. I also used the old Holiday Designer Paper from Stampin' Up! (last year) and the In Color ribbons from last year too. Trying to get rid of some of this retired stuff.
Recipe:
SS: Crab & Company, Sandy Shells Wheel
CS: Cranberry Crisp, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Retired Holiday Thyme Designer Papers
Ink: Basic Black, Close to Cocoa (sponging)
Other: Prisma Color Pencils, Cranberry Crisp and True Thyme Stitched Ribbon, Dimensionals
Happy Holiday Card Making!

Doodle DVD Tin
Hello All,
I purchased this adorable DVD tin from the craft store and smothered it with Darling Doodles Designer Paper from Stampin' Up! I just traced around the lid, cut out the shape, glued it on with Crystal Effects, and sanded the edges after it dried. Then, I decorated with the other papers, and put my name on it. I coloured the flower from the Pretties Kit with Groovy Guava and Purely Pomegranate Ink (from the lids) and my aqua painter.
Recipe:
SS: Doodle This, Doodle That, Doodle Alphabet
CS: Darling Doodles Designer Paper, Purely Pomegranate, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Purely Pomegranate, Whisper White Craft
Other: Aqua Painter, Pretties Kit, Groovy Guava Double Stitched Ribbon

My Acetate Christmas Card
Well Hello...
I have tried my hand at an acetate card (you know, the overhead transparencies teachers use?).
With acetate, you have to use Staz-On Ink if you are going to stamp on that actual material, you cannot use a regular ink. And it is very slippery, so try to be careful, or the image will smear. Also, for the adhesive, I used Mini Glue Dots because they are strong, and easy to hide. This was a lovely sample that I saw somewhere (can't remember where), and this is my attempt.
Recipe:
SS: Glad Tidings, Priceless (swirls)
CS: Shimmery White, Brushed Silver, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
Ink: Staz-On White, Soft Sky
Other: Silver Cord (around the fold), Sponges, Mini Glue Dots

Icicles everywhere!
Hello All,
Here I have one of my samples from my "Christmas in September" Stamp Camp back in the day. It is difficult to see, but I have used Crystal Effects to make a stream of icicles across the top. If you would like to see a very quick tutorial for this technique, see this link: http://stampnscrap4fun.typepad.com/stamp_n_scrap_4_fun/2007/09/brrrrrr.html
Also, it is a 5" x 5" square card (rare for me, as it is not the most efficient use of cardstock)!

Get Well Bee Card
I have been commissioned to make some Get Well cards recently. Usually, this is not my forte, and I have to admit, I have an overwhelming number of feminie stamp sets. So, when it came to making a card that was not plastered with flowers, etc, I found it difficult. I have made this simple card with the Farm Fever set, and NO pink and purple. Hope it works.
Recipe:
SS: Farm Fever
CS: Marigold Morning, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Summer Sun Stampin' Write Marker
Other: 1/16" Circle and 1/8" Circle Punches, Sponge Daubers, Making Memories Self-Adhesive Ribbon
