Bellarific Friday: Paper Piercing

Hi all,

It's Friday again!  TGIF to everyone who doesn't work weekends! (For those who do, I apologize, and don't mean to gloat. LOL)
So, I'm getting ready for a little trip.  This year, my sister moved to Germany to be with her German boyfriend (I know, so romantic, right?), and I am packing my bags to go and visit her!  I will be spending time in her small town of Warburg, Germany, and we will be taking a short 1- or 2- day trip to Amsterdam (about a 3-hour drive from her), and then we will be spending 4 nights is Prague!  If anyone has any activity recommendations for either Amsterdam (get your head out of the gutter!) or Prague, I'd love to hear them!

So anyway, onto the reason for the post!  It's time for Bellarific Friday on the Bloggabella, and this week's challenge was to add paper piercing to your project.  That means you are allowed to poke the heck out of all your papers. LOL

Here's mine:

My card base is Certainly Celery CS, and the polka dot paper is from SU's Cutie Pie DSP pack, with a black mat.  The strip up the left side is a black bottom, punched with my Martha Stewart edge punch, then a layer of Certainly Celery, then a white layer - I used an Ornare piercing template for the design on that piece.

I stamped Hanging Sign onto Bella's Bestest Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured it totally with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS - no Copics again!  I must be on a crazy kick.  I love this image because it is so cute and classy, and it comes with 3 sentiments to put inside the sign.
I added some sponging around the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink, and I added some more piercing to the corners with a basic template and my Mat Pack.

Next week's challenge?????  Huggabuggs!  Create a card using any of the Huggabugg images sold at Stamping Bella, and send it to Emily (emily@stampingbella.com) by Thursday night.  Your card will be published on the Bella blog, and you will be entered to win some Bella Bucks!

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by!

So pretty and so soft looking! Have a lovely holiday. I was in Germany about 20 years ago, but it was on a Canadian Air Force base so I didn't venture far from the base. I do remember the asparagus being in season and it was the BEST asparagus I've ever had. So, if you like asparagus, that's my recommendation! :)
