New Catty Swaps continued

So we meet again....

So, I got my goodie bag of swap cards in the mail today. I found some particularly interesting creations with new products, and some with old favourites. Here we go......

This was done by Susan Ilk using the brand new Three For You Punch box (on my list) as well as the new Wild Wasabi colour.

This card was done by Cheryl Fisher using In The Spotlight, which is a Level 2 hostess set from the upcoming catty. It is well-suited to go with many of the circle punches.

This card was done by Jeannie Kilgour using a couple of old favourites (Looks Like Spring and Wonderful Words). Notice the adorable brand new Rhinestone brads (it's about time). They are sold in two colour packs: Fire (pink, orange, red & yellow), and Ice (blue, green, purple, and teal). They are also sold in round or square shape. They are a great addition.

This card was done by Deanna Tam using the new Baroque Motifs stamp set.

This card was done by Sarah Pendergrast using the new Vases in Vogue stamp set. This one is a level 3 hostess set from the new catty, and one that I personally think is adorable. She has also used the new Prints designer paper in Soft Sky (a new In Color), and the round tab punch that has been carried over from the Spring Mini 2007 Catalogue.

This card was done by Sarah Pendergrast once again using the new Baroque Motifs set. This seems to be a very popular one amongst the demonstators...we'll see how the customers like it. It kind of reminds me of Carte Postale from the Winter Mini 2007 Catalogue (which, by the way, has been carried over into the new catty). Great use of Vellum here as well as using the copper emboss powder for the image on top.

This card was made by Joyce Taylor. Using the ever popular Baroque Motifs set. Great exhibition of the new Purely Pomegranate colour, as well as that brand new square rhinestone brad I mentioned. It's hard to see, but in the top left corner, she layered 2 images, and it was very effective.

This card was made by Diane Cooper. She used the new Garden Silhouettes stamp set, which is a level 2 hostess set from the new catty. She used new colours: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, River Rock. And she also used the new Prints Designer paper in Rose Red. The sentiment is from Baroque Motifs. It's hard to see, but I also loved that she cut out the 2 main flowers, embossed them with clear emboss powder, and layered them on top of the flowers that she previously stamped.

Lastly, this one was made by Deanna Tam. She used the stamp set Double-Line Doodles (including the paisley-type background!). Elegant Eggplant and Tempting Turquoise make a great colour combo, and the faux stitching is the perfect touch.
