For Ewe CASE

Hi All,

Another SU card - this time, I CASE'd it from Renee van Stralen - you can find her post HERE.  I used it because I thought it was a great way to show the Pun Fun set!

My card base is Whisper White, followed by a piece of Chocolate Chip, then a layer of Pink Pirouette, where I embossed the top part with SU's Snow Blossoms folder.
I stamped the sentiment "for you" in Chocolate Chip ink on that layer (it's from the Great Friend set).

For the horizontal strip, I punched a piece of Ruby Red CS with the Eyelet Border Punch, and topped it with a strip of Bella Rose DSP.

Then, I stamped the label image from the Great Friend set a bunch of times in Chocolate Chip ink onto Bella Rose DSP and Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red CS, and cut them out in various sizes and layered them.  I topped 2 of them with felt flowers (Fusion Too Accents and Elements tin) and SU buttons.

Finally, I stamped the sheep from Pun Fun onto white CS with black ink, coloured him with SU markers, cut him out, and layered him on with Dimensionals.

Mambo Always

Hi All,

Here is another SU card I made with the stamp set Always.  It is actually a CASE of a card on SCS by stampcrave, found HERE. 

My card base is Melon Mambo, followed by a piece of Very Vanilla, which is embossed with the Finial Press embossing folder.

The next panel is a piece of Very Vanilla rolled with my Swirls Jumbo Wheel in Blush Blossom ink, and sponged with Melon Mambo ink.  That was mounted onto a piece of Blush Blossom CS.

The heart from Always was inked up with Blush Blossom ink, then rolled in Melon Mambo ink, and stamped onto Very Vanilla CS.  I cut that out and wrapped some old pink SU ribbon aroung it and mounted it onto the panel.  I stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo ink onto Vanilla CS, and cut it out with the Word Window punch.  That was mounted onto a Melon Mambo piece punched with the Modern Label punch.

Let It Snow - Stamp Camp Card 1

Hi All,

Well, I thought I would post the first card we will be doing at my November Stamp Camp.

This card is actually a CASE of the one from the catalogue (I switched some of the papers, though). It uses the Big on Christmas stamp set - stamped in Basic Black ink onto Kraft CS. The 2 left corners were punched with the Corner Rounder. I watercoloured some shadow underneath with my Neutral Watercolour Wonder Cayons and my Aqua Painter. I stamped the snowman on a piece of white CS, coloured him with markers, cut him out, and mounted him with Dimensionals.

At the bottom of the Kraft piece, there is a piece of Real Red CS punched with the Scallop Edge punch.

The card base is Night of Navy CS, and I rolled the Jolly Wheel across the middle in Night of Navy ink (it's hard to see in the pic). Then, there is a strip of Old Olive CS, and at the bottom is a piece of DSP from the Christmas Cocoa pack (in the mini catty).

Another Unlikely Christmas Card

Hi All,

I really wanted to use my Season of Joy stamp set, so when I saw THIS card on SplitCoast, I wanted to CASE it. I didn't add ribbon, but the rest of it is similar.

I used markers for the main stamp on Very Vanilla CS, and put a Vintage brad through the letter "O". I matted that onto Pumpkin Pie, and then Close to Cocoa CS.

The card base is Close to Cocoa, then mounted with a Very Vanilla piece of CS, which was sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink. I stamped the swirls on top of that.

On the bottom half, I used up some retired DSP called Apple Cider.

Snow Bursts CASE

Hi All,



I saw this card on SCS and decided I wanted to do a simpler version of it. I used the retired Snow Burst set and the Punches Three set.




I used Kraft CS for the card base, then the Chocolate Chip layer and Brushed Gold layer are matted with Whisper White CS. The Brushed Gold layer is stamped with the snowflake images in Whisper White Craft, Chocolate Chip and Encore Gold inks.





The emblem is punched out with my scallop square punch, ad mounted on Dimensionals. I tied Chocolate Chip felt ribbon around the top layer.

Oval All CASE

Hi All,



This is the final card from my class this month. I wanted to showcase the Oval All stamp set, Scallop Oval Punh, and the Walk In The ark DSP, all from the Occasions Mini. So, I found THIS card on Beate's blog, and thought it would be good one - nice & cheerful.

The base is Basic Black, then layered with the Walk In The Park DSP, the a Whisper White strip, punched with the Scallop Edge Punch. I wrapped the Bashful Blue Striped Grosgrain ribbon around that layer.

The next panel has a Basic Black piece, then a Whisper White layer, then another piece from the Walk In The Park DSP. I punched 3 black flowers out with my Trio Flower Punch, and pierced them with Vintage brads.

Finally, I stamped one of the stamps from Oval All in Basic Black, and coloured it with my Aqua Painter and ink pad lids. I stamped another one on a scrap, coloured in the big flower, cut it out, and stuck it lightly onto the main oval. Then, I stuck that onto a black scalloped oval. I pierced it, and put a Rhinestone brad in the centre.

Zindorf Dedication Week: Card 4 (last one)

Hi All,



This is the final card that I CASE'd from Michelle Zindorf - she is a complete wonder! Once again, I have simplified the card quite a bit, just to make it easier for my class. Her original card is HERE.

I started with a Very Vanilla piece of CS, and I cut a circle out of a Post-It, and stuck it to the paper (will be the sun).


I brayered the entire piece with Apricot Appeal, then stamped the horse from the set Wanted in Black ink. That particular stamp is slightly distressed-looking, so it's not a solid imprint, so I coloured it in with a black marker.

Then, I sponged More Mustard ink with a "Left-to-Right" swiping motion, then did the same with the Really Rust ink. Finally, I added a very small amount of Basic Black in the same manner.


I covered the sky on a diagonal with a Post-It, and sponged Basic Black ink to form the ground at the bottom. I sponged a bit of Black below the horse, so it would look like he was kicking up dust.


Finally, I stamped the sentiment Wanted in White Craft ink at the bottom.


That was mounted onto a Basic Black square, then onto a More Mustard layer, then onto a Basic Black base.

Zindorf Dedication Week: Card 3

Hi All,


Here is the next card I CASE'd from Michelle Zindorf. Her original is HERE.

The orange flowers are made with the Botanical Blooms set (from SAB this year), with Black and Tangerine Tango ink, and they were embossed with Clear EP.

I brayered So Saffron ink at the botton of the Whisper White panel. Then, I brayered Pale Plum ink at the top. Then, I ripped a Post-It, and layered it across the panel on a diagonal, and sponged Baja Breeze ink below it (to make the mountains). Then, I moved the Post-It down a notch, and sponged with Basic Black (another mountain layer).

I sponged some Chocolate Chip ink in the lower left corner, where the flowers are, and stamped the tree from Thoughts & Prayers in Basic Black ink.


That was layered onto a Tangerine Tango piece of CS, and a Basic Black piece of CS, then onto the Baja Breeze base.


I used the Photo Corner Punch with Black CS, and Silver brads.

Zindorf Dedication Week: Card 2

Hi All,

Here is another CASE from the Zindorf blog. You can find her original work HERE.

I used the set Bloomin' Beautiful (which I love), and the So Swirly Jumbo Wheel. The main panel is Whisper White CS. The flower pot was stamped, coloured, then embossed with my Versamarker and Clear EP.

The word Bloom was stamped with Versamark, then into Kiwi Kiss ink, then onto the CS, and embossed with clear EP.

The wheel was then rolled across the middle of the CS with Ballet Blue ink (the embossed images resist the ink, thus named the Emboss Resist Technique).

I brayered the lower right, and the upper left corners with Ballet Blue ink, and then brayered some Night of Navy ink not quite as far. This created a gradual colour change. Some Night of Navy ink was also sponged underneath the pot to create a shadow.

This was layered onto a Whisper White panel, then onto a Lavendar panel, then onto a Sahara Sand base. I sponged a couple of layers with the Not Quite Navy ink as well. The 2 top layers were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch, then there are Rich Regal brads in each corner.

Zindorf Dedication Week: Card 1

Hi All,

I decided to do a brayer/sponging class this month, because a lot of my ladies are pretty intimidated by the brayer. So, where better to find the ideas for the projects, but Michelle Zindorf's blog. I chose a select few cards that I thought we could do, and I definitely made them a bit simpler. The first card I borrowed is HERE.




I used the set Echoes of Kindness (Hostess Level 2 set) for the flowers, and Lovely As A Tree.

The flowers were stamped with Versafine ink, and embossed with Clear EP. They were then coloured in with markers, then covered with the Versamarker, and embossed with Clear EP again.

Then, I sponged More Mustard on the bottom half of the card, then Handsome Hunter in the bottom left corner.

I brayered Bashful Blue ink onto the top half of the card, and then Not Quite Navy ink (not fully covering the Bashful Blue). I then stamped the tree in black ink, coloured the trunk with a Sahara Sand marker, and sponged Handsome Hunter on the leaves. It was layered onto a Pacific Point piece of CS, and onto a white base.

Sympathy Card

Hi All,

I thought I would use my new Thoughts and Prayers stamp set to make a sympathy card at my stamp camp this month. Those types of cards are unusual for me, but I figured, everyone needs them at some point (unfortunately).

I saw a version of this card HERE from inglishrea on Splitcoast. I changed a couple of things up, but I really liked the colour theme as well.

The main panel was made using the Big Shot with the Top Note die. The top layer is Very Vanilla and the second layer is Pumpkin Pie.

The sentiment is stamped in Always Artichoke, and the flowers/branches are done with markers: Always Artichoke, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, and Tempting Turquoise.

Poker Face

Hi All,



I saw a card using the Game Night stamp set, and I had to re-create it for my stamp camp this month. I thought it was an especially great card for the men in my life.

The colours of cardstock used are Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, and Almost Amethyst.

The only inks I used were Basic Black and Versamark (the knight was embossed in black).

I sponged quite a bit with the black ink as well. The knight was cut out with the Wide Oval Punch.

Another Catty CASE

Hi again,

Yet another card from the catalogue that I fell in love with! I didn't have the exact sentiment, but I had to try this with my Pick A Petal set.

Also, the catalogue uses Glorious Green CS, which I don't have, so I used Gable Green instead.

The circles were cut in Gable Green and Taken with Teal with the Coluzzle.

The petals were stamped on Whisper White CS in Rose Red ink, and I used my Sponge Daubers to do the fading.

The faux stitching was done with my Paper Piercer and Mat Pack, and my white gel pen.

I used the sentiment from Bloomin' Beautiful and it was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink.

It's a simple one, but I think the flower is effective.

Catty CASE

Hi All,

When I saw this card in the catalogue, I LOVED it! I forget which page it's on, but it goes with the Pretty Amazing stamp set.

The card base is a 4 1/2" x 11" piece of Baja Breeze CS folded in half. The min panel is a 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla, and the Chocolate Chip mat is 1/4" larger.

Firstly, I stamped the flower from Pretty Amazing in Tangerine Tango. Then I put a mask of the flower over, and stamped it again. You can see that there is less strength in the top flower because it is the second time I stamped it (ie. stamp first on a piece of scrap, then stamp on the main panel).

The leaves are stamped in Certainly Celery (with the mask still on the flower). The butterfly was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink on Certainly Celery CS and cut out.

The ribbon is the wide double stitched Baja Breeze.

Pocket Silhouettes, Urban Garden

Hi All,

Here is another card I will be doing at my October Stamp Camp. I try to use punches wherever possible, because it's less work for me, in terms of prep.

I got this sketch from Chat's Blog, but I changed the stampe set and the colours. I used the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set, as well as the Urban Garden DSP.

The colours used are Basic Gray, Kiwi Kiss, and Baja Breeze. I also used the new Scallop Edge and Scallop Square punches. I added some decorative dots to the scalloped edge with my White Gel Pen.

Also, the ribbon is the new Baja Breeze Double Stitched ribbon (extra wide). I tried to tack the ends down with some mini glue dots, so they aren't moving around everywhere.

The 3 main panels are popped out on foam squares.

Snowman Card

Hi All,

Here is another card I CASE'd from DAWN. She has got some great ideas! I used the same colours, but I switched out one of the stamp sets. My card uses the A Tree For All Seasons set for the main snowman square (punched with the 1 3/8" Square Punch), and the Season of Joy set for the sentiment and the background.

My main image is usually stamped on a neutral colour, so when I saw Dawn's card using Bashful Blue as the main panel, I had to try it. The tree image is coloured with markers and White Gel Pen. The background is stamped in black and also highlighted with White Gel Pen.

Colours are: Bashful Blue, Basic Black, Sage Shadow, Purely Pomegranate (supposed to be Rose Red, but I ran out).

Hallowe'en Bat CASE

Hi All,

Here is a sample of another card we'll be doing at my October Stamp Camp. I CASE'd it from Dawn's card HERE. I used the stamp set Batty For You, and I left out the sentiment, but I thought it was too cute to pass up!

I used Tangerine Tango for the base, but I should have used Pumpkin Pie, so I'll straighten that out before the class.

I inked the bat up with my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker, to avoid stamping the phrase that comes around the outside.

The white circle was punched with my 1" Circle Punch, the Tangerine circle was done with my 1 1/4" Circle Punch, and the Basic Gray circle (on the inside) was done with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch.

After I Punched the 1 3/8" circle out of Basic Gray, I used that hole to punch out the Scallop Circle (so that the middle is missing). It looks great as a border.

The DSP is from the Ghostly Greetings pack of papers (sooo cute!).
