ScrapFest 2010

Hey everyone!
I don't have a project to show you today, but I wanted to share my day!  I went to Scrap Fest in Oshawa, Ontario today, and I had a blast!  There were sooo many vendors, it was almost overwhelming.

Did I go overboard on my spending?  Absolutely!  There was a certain discount seller where I stocked up on some Copics and refills that I didn't have, and I bought a whack of new images too!

I also got to chat with some awesome friends...

First off, I headed for the Stamping Bella booth, and saw Emily and Helen.  Emily's store is not that far from me, so I do get to see her from time to time.  But it is still a treat!  Here we are:

I have to tell you all...Emily is a blast!  We also have something in common: neither of us has a very good filter with what we say.  But, she had me laughing, so I thought she was great!  They had a great demo going with their Viva products too.  I will see her again next weekend at the Creativ Festival in Toronto.

I also stopped at the Kraftin' Kimmie booth because I needed to catch up on some of my Annie Rodrigue images, and I knew I would see Melanie Holt there!  Now, if you have not been to her blog, you MUST go and see her colouring.  She is THE QUEEN!  We are also on a Design Team together, so it was nice to meet her in person.  We had a good chat, and she is the nicest person ever!  I also asked her for some tips on colouring hair, because what she does with it is breathtaking, and she was gracious enough to sit down and show me.  Here we are:

I told her I would look for the redhead!  And there she was.

Anyway, I can't wait to go to the Creativ Festival next weekend, and see what good stuff I can spot.
